Below is recommend outline for getting the most out of this course:

Week 1: L1-L5

Week 2: L6-L9
Week 3: 7 Day Challenge

L1: How to Hold The Guitar

Before diving into guitar chords and strumming patterns, let's tackle the fundamental first step: how to hold the guitar. This sets the foundation for everything else you'll learn.

Proper positioning not only prevents bad habits but also promotes wrist comfort and overall technique. If you're unsure, I'll guide you through it in a quick video tutorial. And if you don't have one already, investing in a guitar strap is a wise move for added support."

L2: How To Tune The Guitar

Admit it, even the most skilled guitarists can't escape the oddity of out-of-tune guitars. It's a hurdle every musician faces. That's why mastering the art of tuning is essential, like second nature. Initially daunting? Perhaps. But with consistent practice, it'll soon become a breeze. I'll walk you through the string names and guide you, step by step, through the tuning process, highlighting common pitfalls along the way

L3: Guitar Picks & How to Hold Them

Ah, the joys of learning guitar! And what's a guitarist's trusty sidekick? The guitar pick, of course! Since you'll be wielding one for hours on end, it's crucial to pick the right one and wield it properly.

Join me in this video where I'll demonstrate the art of holding the guitar pick and offer a range of options to help you find the perfect tone for your guitar.

L4: Legendary Spider Exercise

Welcome to our inaugural lesson! Today, we dive into the Spider Exercise, a classic drill often attributed to Justin Sandicore, the pioneer of online guitar instruction. Back in my learning days, it was just him and guitar tabs. And guess what?

That's precisely what we're tackling today—our very first guitar tab. Don't fret if it feels a bit daunting initially. Think of it as a guitar's coordinate system, and I'll guide you through every step.

L5: First Chord & First Song

Today's lesson introduces us to our initial two chords, which happen to be featured in the iconic song 'A Horse with No Name.' While the strumming pattern may be a tad more intricate than what we'll tackle initially, it serves as excellent practice for mastering our first chords. So, let's dive in and embrace the opportunity to hone our skills with this classic tune!

L6: New Chords C & G

Welcome to today's lesson where we'll be introducing two new chords: C and G. We'll begin by simplifying things, just like last time, using only two fingers. However, if you're feeling adventurous, I'll demonstrate how to progress a bit further. These chords lay the groundwork for your guitar journey, enabling you to strum along to your favorite tunes!

Now, many of my students find the C chord particularly challenging. The early stages of guitar playing demand finger dexterity, coordination, and wrist flexibility. But remember, persistence is key! Keep at it, and before you know it, you'll be playing effortlessly. Hopefully, you're dedicating at least 10 minutes to practice each day.

L7: The Legendary D Chord

Today, we're diving into our first three-finger chord: the D chord. Personally, it's one of my favorites—it has a certain prideful ring to it! If you haven't taken a break yet, now might be a good time to do so.

Developing finger dexterity, wrist flexibility, and calluses takes time. I suggest starting with 10-30 minutes of practice each day. And remember, if you experience any sharp pain in your fingers or wrist, it's crucial to take a break and give yourself some rest

L8: Guitar Strumming Basics

Today's lesson is all about laying the groundwork. Before diving into intricate strumming patterns and complex songs, mastering the basics is essential. We must nail down chord changes at a slower pace before ramping up to faster speeds.

This is especially crucial if your aspirations involve playing fast or singing while playing. So, let's focus on building a strong foundation together!

L9: 8th Note Chord Strumming

Today's lesson introduces 8th notes and our initial strum pattern. It's absolutely crucial to approach these strums with patience and take things slowly. While I haven't mentioned it before, using a metronome can be incredibly helpful for maintaining a steady pace as you practice.

Congratulations on completing week 1 of your journey! Week 2 awaits with exciting new challenges and opportunities to build upon what we've already learned
